Here the smell is wonderful, lots of nothing but fruity Pinot, a little bit of spice. But that hint of sharpness comes out in the texture, which is more edgy and less integrated than I would like, with a hint of alcohol burn on the finish. Still an excellent wine, a steal at the prices then on offer, but not quite as wonderful as I remember.
