Wednesday, July 17, 2019 - Napa 2019; 7/14/2019-7/18/2019: Tasted at Cornell. Lovely property with good things going on. Like this 13, this is a big brut mountain wine. Not as structured as the 13 but had more herbal notes and less overt fruit. Slight hint of red fruit, but hiding behind a wall of tannins. Tannins were puckering even after we finished. Lay down for 10 years for maximum reward. 91 now, upside into mid 90s.
