Tuesday, May 19, 2020 - Blend of Zweigelt (65%) and Blaufrankisch (45%).
Purple-ruby, tainted fast-moving legs @ 13% abv. Distinct barnyard aromas with cherry and blueberry. Dry, medium(+)-high ripe acidity, medium tannin, medium alcohol and ditto body. Palate of sour cherry, kirsch, punchy black pepper, and leather and meat notes in the back palate. Good length with a balanced finish with fruit and savory/spicy notes captured in a rustic framework.
