Friday, August 27, 2021 - Opened last night. Very impressive for $12. Try finding a good Cali zin or primitivo at anywhere near $12. Nice dark red-violet color. Nose has nice sour raspberry fruit. Palate is closer to a classic zin, ripe but restrained in a way not typical for Cali zins, which is a welcome revelation. Lots to like here, especially at the modest price. 4-11-16-8: 89/100.
