Friday, February 1, 2019 - In a blind tasting, we could not distinguish this from a highly rated jammy Lodi zin, even down to the zippy, briary midpalate and finish. Almost sweet, a bit of a bomb, but oh so delicious, and plenty of sweet spicy darkness and tannins to balance it out. Always a favorite at family gatherings, and sure to be a crowd pleaser at a big barbecue.
