Friday, October 7, 2011 - Decanted for a couple of hours before. A big nose with cherries and most of all, blueberries. The wine was still a dark purple colour with hints of red at the edges. A smooth, silky palate with those blueberries winning through again and a long finish. I was slightly surprised but pleased that this had knitted together so well with age and it certainly had a few more years of life left.
