Tuesday, February 14, 2023 - This was so wound up over the three days it was consumed. Nowhere along the way was there any give. While I have little experience with young Super Tuscans, I was hoping that given the hype, this would have shown more fruit and perfume. It was a clenched fist of tannins. In 10-20 years the tertiary flavors will likely be amazing, but for now I cannot offer a higher score based on pleasure.

I have to imagine that 2016 Sassicaia will sing in another couple of decades, it had the stuffing, but holding everything back.

Wish you a great day JEP007
