Sunday, September 24, 2023 - Some friends brought this gorgeous Red Bordeaux blend to a weekend tasting.
Stellar, regal, savory, showing off red and black fruits, perfectly ripened, with notes of charcoal, anise, briary stems, and bay leaf.
On the palate, full bodied, with a voluptuous mouthfeel, and the fruit showing pinpoint precision.
Polished tannins that should age nicely for several decades, and beautiful buffering acidity that enhances the long and lip-smacking finish.
Drink through 2040+. Amazing juice.
