Saturday, February 24, 2024 - 13.2% abv - 161 grams/liter of sugar. This is a passito styled wine - dried grapes, to concentrate sugars and bring about unique flavors. The wine is showing some bricking in glass, with clear garnet color. Red fruit, fruitcake, some tomato aspic on nose. Medium weight (especiallly for a dessert styled wine), with noticeable acidity, black cola, cherry and ripe blackberries - signs of rhubarb and Macintosh apple on the med plus finish. Not overly complex but enjoyable. Drink soon
