Monday, July 7, 2014 - From a bottle purchased on release and stored in a cold, dark cellar. The wax capsule was completely intact and the fill level was to the eyebrows. Pale gold color, distinctive demure Raveneau perfume of lees and lemon peel. No trace of oxidation on the nose or palate. Tasted of butterscotch and lemon curd, with a finish that lasted for 45 minutes. The wine did not fade over the course of 3 hours, but it did disappear. An astonishing premier cru Chablis, still blooming at the age of 22.
