Tuesday, August 2, 2016 - Summer 2016. From a magnum. I was looking forward to trying this as I love Raveneau 92s, and MdT is my favourite of his 1ers. The wine was a perfect example of a top Chablis entering it's tertiary stage. There was still beautiful acidity and minerality. The abundance of lemons and limes offered a hint of the vintage. After a few minutes, the wine calmed down and revealed a drier, earthier side. The next day, there was still an inch or so in the decanter, which had held up well and was still delightfully honeyed and mushroomey.
