Sunday, August 20, 2023 - Dark ripe and powerful - this was more wine than I expected when I opened the bottle. Pure on the nose with a little bit of smoke and roasted meat. Palate is medium bodied, ripe yet with firm and juicy tannins and good acidity. Lots of currant and red cherry and blackberry fruit - really very nice. Finish is good as well, with good depth and length of flavour. Very good with some greek themed food.
