Thursday, May 11, 2017 - Celler de Capçanes, Peraj Haabib, 2003 : Tasted blind. This bottle was stored in absolutely impeccable conditions since its release, and it shows! Deep cherry red in color, with on the nose black cherries, plums, tar, green olives, saddle leather as well as notes of barnyard funk. Full-bodied, with a rich and silky mouth-feel. On the palate, notes of red and black fruits, olives, Mediterranean herbs, beef prosciutto, figs, moss with medium acidity and integrating tannins gently caressing the mouth while highlighting notes of mocha on the long and elegant finish. 14.5% Abv. Drink now-2019. 93+
