Sunday, August 6, 2023 - Getting there, needs a good decant, 3+ hrs- time in bottle may help. Black fruited, loads of mineral, some wild gamey notes. Fun, but lacking if I am honest- there is one leg in the old world and another somewhere else, Oregon, I guess. Getting some acetone that eventually blows off. Full body, high acid, high tannin, needs some time, but I dunno what time will do to the wine. Preferred style wise to a Stolpman 2020 estate syrah.
