Wednesday, January 2, 2019 - Dinner at Osteria taStè, Barbaresco: A favourite local sparkling Chardonnay blend of Jeffrey’s. Zero dosage, I understand. Fresh lemon, vanilla and lemon custard with banana on the nose. Dry, minerally, citric and light to drink, with a flavour profile reminding me of a lemon meringue pie (not as sweet though, obviously). Frothy with vibrant acidity.
