Wednesday, June 6, 2018 - Very nice Chard. Tasted better closer to room temp than it did in the mid-50's. This one had a mango, guava, blood orange nose to it. The entry of this wine was softer at first, but then had great minerality in the middle with some herbal influence and a nuttiness on the finish. The finish is where this one really didn't perform well until it was closer to room temp. Overall I am really quite pleased with this wine. Falls short when served cold, yet has a very nice personality with a little bit of chill to it. I think this one will integrate nicely over the next 1 or 2 years and think this one has at least 5 or 7 years before it develops some tertiary notes. Very nice tonight however!
