Sunday, April 18, 2021 - Brought to the restart of our Philly centric tasting group. Distinct oak driven flavors on the nose and palate, just a little out of balance for me. Vanilla, caramel creams and ripe black fruit dominate. Finish shows some earthy elements and a touch of chocolate. Very good but distinctly less interesting than the 1987 Beringer Private Reserve Cab.
