Saturday, June 8, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Showing more Cabernet Franc typicity than the 09 from the night before. Medium expressive nose displaying fresh black fruit, blackberry, black cherry, a hint of bell pepper, smoked meat, lactic, dark spices and mineral. Very refine palate, nicely layered fresh black fruit, silky and polished, bright acidity, strong limestone mineral, fine tannins and a medium to long sweet black fruit driven finish. This will need another decade to reach the peak.
