Monday, September 10, 2018 - MNB: Lees Aging (Home (Noe st)): (non-blind - my wine)

Medium straw - has a touch of color (2014?)
Neutral nose - some dusty pear. Slight green apple and pie crust.
On the palate, dry, medium-bodied, with 12% alcohol and high acid (tart/malic and strong-tartaric). Has definite midpalate texture - reminds me of the slightly oily Drouhin Marquis de Laguiche, but without the oak. Long finish with green apple, slight tart green apple skins, and slight dessicated pie crust.

Slight bitterness to the palate - like apple-skin-with-a-bit-of-dirt bitterness.

33 months on lees!

This is pretty good - aromatic and textural without being too phenolic.
