Saturday, June 11, 2011 - A really good showing for this wine tonight. Smoky, spicy and gamey on the nose leading on to a palate that was full of intense fruit with a liquorice undertone all done with with plenty of finese, as Syrah should be! This is fine wine and great value hermitage! Plenty of life in it 5-10 years I think.
