Tuesday, September 30, 2014 - Raveneau Dinner (Young and Mid-Aged Wines) (Les Nomades - Chicago IL): Tasted blind in flight of younger Raveneau Montée de Tonnerre (2002-2005). Very rich and ripe with lots of power, but hasn't yet developed the nuance I always find in mid-aged or mature Thunder Mountain. Slightly less minerality or lemon character than i normally find in Chablis, but I'm confident this emerge as a classic Raveneau in another 5-10+ years.
