Monday, September 14, 2020 - Close to perfection. Pristine bottle. Mature with notes of honey, lemon oil, mandarin, beewax, without being too exotic. Extreme depth with salt and mineral flavours. Generous and still delineated. This was a true masterpiece, opened at the right time, offering extreme drinking pleasure. Raveneau can have a bit of an academic profile, but this one was quite hedonistic, elegant and feminine. Lovely, lovely, lovely. Why is it so difficult to make wine the way he and Dauvissat do?

IMHO you just need to taste a little more Chablis. 34 samples aren't good enough. Six vignerons, nothing else.
Always a funny picture btw ...
