Friday, July 31, 2020 - Deep ruby with purple shades. Very ripe on the nose and very fruit driven in a plummy way. The wood is still noticeable but not intrusive. A nose full of sun and a bit short on other adjectives. Full bodied and showing just a tad more evolution, the palate is still ruled by the dark plummy fruit with a balsamic edge. Low on the acids but with a big structure supported by good set of tannins. It really occupies the entire palate. Fairly long with a green edge at the end. Still unresolved but i couldnt say its a safe bet for long term keeping. That being said it will welcome a couple of years more in the dark to better resolve its youthfulness.
