Sunday, February 21, 2016 - Drank at Jean Georges restaurant in NYC. 1 hour decant. This is in a really nice spot right now -- still has it's youthful energy, but the tannins were soft, well integrated, and approachable, with no hard edges. I was getting a lot of secondary notes one hopes for with a 20 year old Bordeaux, although there is still a ton of fruit here. I assume this will be great for many years to come, but for my tastes, I think it's right in it's prime drinking window. This was a total crowd pleaser, to say the least.
