Thursday, April 26, 2018 - Star bright, near water clear straw gold. A bit of “stank” on the bosomy nose, that blows off to reveal lemon, citrus rind, and hay. Echoed on the palate with the lemon asserting itself more prominently back palate. Bright (medium) acidity. Medium full body (without obvious malolactic). Baked quince somehow managed to sneak into the finish. I’m enjoying mine with a rich fruit and cheese plate. Enjoy yours with same, or with white flesh fish, poultry with cream sauce, or salad greens with diverse veggies and nuts.
