Sunday, March 28, 2021 - We love the I Block Fume Blanc, but have always drank the wine much younger. This wine was released 3 years ago.
It is certainly age-worthy, and of small interest to see how it has evolved. But, at least to our tastes, the mellowing of the wine caused it to lose some of its distinctiveness that makes the I-Block such a stand-alone bottle of wine. We will make it a point to drink it younger.
