Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - Dark purple in the glass. Relatively restrained nose - little bit herbal, menthol, and black fruited. High acid and high, blocky tannins. Bit hot on the palate; not overly generous. Struggle to say much about the fruit other than that it was about 80/20 weighted black/red. This is much too young and isn't ready yet; the fruit just seems to be in a bit of an akward spot, for my taste. I'm sure it'll be brilliant in time. 91+++
