Monday, January 27, 2020 - As with my previous bottles, this benefited enormously from a little aeration. On opening it was shy on the nose and a bit simple on the palate. After half an hour or so it had blossomed into a wonderfully fragrant, elegant and savoury wine. Black cherry and raspberry with some background spice, a sensual texture with that ethereal quality sometimes found in the wines of Montille. The best (and sadly the last) of my four bottles.
