Thursday, June 29, 2023 - Tasted after a one hour decant. Medium to dark ruby in colour with initial almost jammy aromas transitioning to floral & somewhat earthy minerality.
On the palate, medium bodied tart red fruit, cranberry/raspberry, floral, somewhat earthy, slightly spicy, medium acidity, medium noticeable tannins with a long finish to black cherry & a smoky minerality. Interesting mostly red fruit profile given the relatively dark colour. Even though almost 7 years old, still tasting quite young & fresh.
