Monday, February 24, 2020 - This wine is flickering on perfection. With addictive aromas of lush dark cherries, dark plums, blueberries, espresso, tobacco leaf, crushed stones and freshly cracked black pepper. The palate is medium-full bodied, deep and concentrated with firm but silky tannins. There is so much going on in this wine with waves of powerful dark plush fruit and spice this is wonderfully layered and is consistently involving with every sip. The finish is precise and extremely long. Drink now over the next 20+ years. Wow!

In general-year after year-which offering by Bevan do you think is the best? Dave

    10/17/2020 6:32:00 PM - Greetings again,
Looking through my cellar for wines ready to drink. Since I have only one bottle of this wine I am reluctant to open it. When do you think this wine will be at its peak? Thanks ahead of time for your response. Dave

10/18/2020 4:08:00 AM - Hi Dave, I would keep this for another couple of years minimum. This will drink wonderfully now, however, you will just get primary fruit which is fine but I believe this will develop quite nicely in the upcoming 5-8 years. I plan to open my next one in around 5 years time if that helps. I would be interested in tasting this at age 10. Hopefully, that answers your question.

Would like some of those secondary characteristics to present themselves. To be honest that is why I spend more funds on certain wines. Hoping for secondary characteristics to take the stage creating a wine worthy of discussion with friends and fun for myself to drink. If I may inquire is that the reason you also selected these wines? Dave
