Powerful and expressive nose reveals; dry cherries, wet tobacco, leather, iodine, bitter chocolate and orange rind. The palate displays sweet dry fruits, bright acidity and noticeable tannins. I am aware that Gaja is quite controversial but I am not so sure how one can dislike this.
