Tuesday, December 16, 2014 - Almost forgot about this bottle. Bought in '96 before meeting my wife. Survived 2 moves and a house fire. Cork crumbly on outer 1/3 so expected vinegar. Decanted for 1 1/2 hrs. Stingy to pure delight. Smooth and not bitey. Excellent finish. Wonderful after a hard day. Paired well with a home cooked beef tenderloin and mushroom ragout. Huge save and best Tuesday wine in awhile! When a wine is made well, it holds up to time and stress.
