90 Points

Saturday, October 9, 2021 - This is a big and bold red blend from Lodi, California. Spicy and engaging.

Showing black fruits with chocolates, oak, vanilla, coffee, mocha, peppercorn, light earth, smoke and alcohol.

Full-bodied and very very fruity.

Dry to off-dry on the palate with medium acidity.

Spicy finish with soft tannins.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime, when more complexity shows up.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with cheeses and crackers. Will pair very nicely with Burgers and Fries.

I bought some a few years ago to check how it would evolve with some aging. It didn't really mellow down, but this five-year-old is tasty and very easy to drink.

I had it two years ago and it is drinking much nicer now. Was worth the wait.

Might be a tad too sweet for some.

15% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$15.
