Wednesday, August 26, 2020 - Dark but vibrant inky purple color. Strong notes of blue fruit with a bit of mocha on the nose. The fruit explodes in one’s mouth; fruit is fresh but not over the top, with hints of chocolate. Very rich, good balance. Finish is long and very pleasant. Served with lamb chop with sweet pepper relish and wild rice pilaf, the meal and wine paired very well. Once again, Grant has created a beautiful wine that is well-balanced and is a little different from what one might find elsewhere.
