Wednesday, March 23, 2022 - MUCH better than my last bottle, which tasted tropical like a muscat, very insipid...a crappy wine from the Macon? This bottle is back to Chablis! GC weight...showing the ripeness of vintage, yet not as tropical...more citrus and crisp apples...killer dry extract coming through...crushed limestone, sea air, chive...waxy banana skin with a little spearmint...Mmmmm Raveneau?! Has a nice creamy sheen to it...nothing powerful or protruding...very subtle and calm...almost something you'd find in a finely aged Chablis? Drink these while letting your 14's age...my faith just might have been restored with the Caves Dup!
