Friday, July 30, 2021 - Why is this tasting note coming so long after release of the wine? A case of this wine showed up at local Albertsons and they decided to blow it out. We are fans of Conundrum White going back to its first release by Caymus decades ago. So I bought one bottle to taste it and figure out why so cheap. That first bottle was surprisingly excellent so we bought the rest of the bottles and shared the case with friends. Conundrum Whites are very consistent from vintage to vintage. Very reliable. But some are a little better. This 2016 is among the best vintages. Sweet and tart, layered complex flavors and scents. We have yet to find a guest who did not enjoy Conundrum White.
