Monday, July 26, 2010 - Decanted for about 1 1/2 hours in a Riedel Duck. Blackberry, garrigue, licorice and soft, well integrated dusty tannins on the finish. This seams to be fully mature and drinking very well right now. This is a very well made baby Beaucastel. The Perrin 's seem to take as much care with their cotes du rhone as they do with their CDP. Picked up some additional depth and peppery notes on day two. Changed my score to 90.
