Monday, July 26, 2010 - Decanted for about 1 1/2 hours in a Riedel Duck. Blackberry, garrigue, licorice and soft, well integrated dusty tannins on the finish. This seams to be fully mature and drinking very well right now. This is a very well made baby Beaucastel. The Perrin 's seem to take as much care with their cotes du rhone as they do with their CDP. A very good qpr.
Picked up some additional depth and peppery notes on day two. Changed my score to 90.
