Likes this wine:

Saturday, July 25, 2020 - bright light lemon color, generous bouquet of white flowers on the nose, apple, pear, a bit of citrus rind, on the palate quite generous at the moment with apple and citrus notes that have a slight sense of sweetness but quickly flow into a long firm lime-driven finish, rounded stone notes throughout, a very beautiful lemongrass tone with time on both the nose and palate, quite a bit of petrol as well at present which is a bit distracting in the moment but just another sign of a fine young Alsatian Riesling that needs time, it has been a few years since I had this- but based on memory this strikes me as a particularly nice example, definitely a bit more volume than I remember and those intense floral and lemongrass notes can only mean good days ahead, this should be a smashing luncheon wine with a nice piece of fish after a little rest in the cellar.

*(***)+, 2024-2037, this could well reach 5 stars in time
