Saturday, December 3, 2022 - Seems past its prime at this point. On the nose ripe cherries, cinnamon, hint of violets, volatility. Would have guessed it as a Nebbiolo.
On the palate quite thin, the fruit is still there but waning, tannins as well. On the sour side, notes of lingonberry, thyme, green pepper. Very lengthy, but lacking much depth. A nice wine winding down.
