Friday, September 18, 2020 - Light-to-medium straw core. Citrus and fennel on the nose. Dry, balanced acidity, good fruit intensity (pear, peach and lemon, with fresh fennel on the finish). Cool and beautifully aromatic, this is very different from dry whites from Vouvray, Savennieres or Saumur. Chenin truly is a master of disguise.
