Saturday, April 27, 2024 - Medium purple colour. Medium (+) and developing nose with blackberry, black pepper, potting soil, eucalyptus, violet, leather, juniper berries and game. Medium (+) taste of blackberry, black cherry, black pepper, eucalyptus, potting soil, leather and game. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium and grainy tannins. Full body. A very good Californian Syrah. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with game.
