Sunday, December 5, 2021 - Epic Napa Trip - Day 1: Tasted at Kistler's Trenton Roadhouse - One of my favorite vineyards! I was anxious to taste this as I have 3 bottles in my cellar. I will wait to open mine based on this tasting, as I believe it is still improving. Lots of tropical fruit, creamy pear and some tart green apple. The wine also showed sea breeze minerality and some toasted oak. In a good place now, but will get better, IMO. I will start opening mine next year and re-assess. 94 today, should improve, and my second favorite Chardonnay in the lineup.
