Friday, February 23, 2024 - Reserved and tight upon opening with a nicely balanced palate feel and dark fruit. Quite a bit of tannin, yet the bell pepper, earth and some florals find their way to the front. Hard to assess, but decent with dinner.

I am almost aligned with "Afields" there is not enough varietal character her for me to score it, and it stands somewhere between Loire and CA in the way it is made. Garzon needs to find the identity of this wine more clearly to make it express the vineyard.
