Thursday, February 18, 2021 - one hour slow ox. dark ruby pour. nose with dark cherries, ripe berries, clay, sweet tobacco, and nail polish. full-bodied with good acidity and polish. palate mimics the nose. very juicy and smooth. light tannic dusting at the back. medium length finish. good with both barbecue and chocolate cake. this is an ebullient wine, punches above weight.
