Saturday, February 9, 2019 - Seymour Wine Club Meeting 2/9/19 (Home of the Alapatt's): Tasted blind. Stark contrast from wine #3. Big nose of plum, cherry, blackberry and touch of earth. Flavors of plum, vanilla, cherry and blackberry. Ends with a cherry and plum finish of 20-25 seconds. I guess the Intrinsic Cab from Washington but I was wrong. This is definitely more jammy than the 2015, which has a bit more structure. A big wine for sure. I gave this 91 points and it finished 4th on the night.
