Wednesday, May 13, 2020 - A highly enjoyable example of Chinon. It showcases a nice mix of tart fruit and savory green notes. I noted red currant, cherry skin, plum skin with some pine tar, and clove tobacco. The acidity is bright and refreshing and alcohol is low. While not overly complex, I found it had enough interesting qualities to keep me engaged and figure it will only get better with a couple more years.
