Friday, July 31, 2009 - Here I am harvesting another buried acorn, in this case a 5 year old Cote d' Or - my second in a month. I typically don't have to worry about well cared-for aged fine whites of this region, and this is no exception. It will be better one day after uncorking with subtle mineral and oak. Day three was quite pleasurable on my last go around with this bottle.
