Thursday, May 21, 2020 - Dark purple color, with an almost brownish tone. Gorgeous nose of black fruit, charcoal, chocolate. Wonderfully silky mouth feel. Robust complex flavor profile, primarily blackberry, with herbs, smoke, a garden vegetable (snap pea husk?), a slightly bitter aspect, not unpleasant. Well, if not perfectly integrated. Have been drinking a lot of outstanding Napa Cab during this pandemic, and this holds its own versus bottles 2-4x the price.
