Monday, August 12, 2019 - Medium purple in the glass with pink edges. The nose offers modest notes of dark cherry, stewed cranberry, some oak, and an herbal element.

On the palate the wine presents deep, brooding flavors of cranberry, cherry cola, and forest floor. It’s not super complex across the mid-palate, but it’s a really nice wine on the whole. A prominent acidic backbone suggests some life to this wine. It would be interesting to revisit it at the 10 or 15 year point.
