Saturday, October 9, 2021 - Transparent garnet body with brown rim. Nose is medium to light, has red cherries, leather, mushroom, earthy funk. Palate is old world all the way, nice balance of dry notes from the american oak and mineral along with fully ripe red and blue fruits, fine but grippy tannins. Similar to the nose the palate is also mild. Solid value here and can drink on its own, or mild cheeses. This cannot hang with spicier chorizo, etc.
